What the Game Is

Divine RTS Roguelite Survival

Blades of Helios blends classic RTS settlement control, roguelite run progression, and horde-survival pressure. Each descent asks the player to defend a World-Anchor before the island is dragged into the abyss.

Land Under the Solar Ward

A short opening window gives you time to scout, gather, build, and prepare before the tide begins to move.

Build the Settlement

Direct villagers, harvest wood and gold, place buildings, expand production, and fortify routes to the World-Anchor.

Raise the Army

Train combat units, organize defenses, command groups, and prepare for increasingly hostile wave compositions.

Survive High Tide

Enemy ships land on beaches and unload undead forces that march inland toward your anchor, walls, gates, and defenders.

Ascend Through the Gods

Choose divine paths, unlock god powers, blessings, myth units, upgrades, and run-defining strategic bonuses.

Return to the Eternal Forge

Use Souls, equipment, and permanent progression to evolve your Vessel for the next island war.

A Broken Paradise

KnightSlash Studios is an independent game studio focused on creating strategy games that are exciting, replayable, and above all, fun.

We believe memorable games are not built by chasing perfect balance. They are built by creating moments players cannot stop talking about. Impossible battles, unexpected victories, wild strategies, and stories that happen naturally through gameplay.

Founded by a solo developer with over a decade of programming and game development experience, KnightSlash Studios is built on a passion for ambitious systems, high performance gameplay, and the classic real time strategy games that inspired us.

Over the years, we have contributed to open source projects like Veloren and created mods and custom content for games including Arma 3, DayZ, Stonehearth, Minecraft, and Stellaris.

Our debut title, Blades of Helios, draws inspiration from classics like Age of Empires, Warcraft, and StarCraft, while using modern technology to support larger battles, deeper simulations, and endless replayability.

Powered by Unity DOTS and our custom NavCore framework, Blades of Helios is designed to let thousands of units fight, gather, build, and survive together in real time.

As an independent studio, every feature, mechanic, and update is guided by one simple question.
